Music Teacher Wanted at Humlemadskolan in Burlöv – Temporary Position 2026/2027

We have close cooperation with leading Swedish researchers regarding teaching development in both preschool, primary school, and adult education. We are brave and test new innovative ideas such as VR in teaching. We consider movement in both new construction, development of outdoor environments, and offer movement analysis to our staff. We carry out early interventions together with social services and have a joint mobile team to help students with problematic absenteeism. We follow up on goal fulfillment for real and act on our results. We work to become proficient in trust-based leadership and have close leadership with few employees per manager.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a positive and engaged music teacher for a temporary position during the school year 2026/2027. Do you want to become part of a professional and wonderful team at Humlemadskolan?

The position is 80% (free Friday every week) with music teaching in grades 1-6.

Good relationships with students and colleagues are important success factors for us. All students should feel safe and seen! As a teacher, you are responsible together with your colleagues to inspire, stimulate, set demands, and make it possible for each student to develop based on their prerequisites and achieve good results.

As a music teacher at Humlemadskolan, you work with a focus on the music subject. You will also be involved in other pedagogical parts such as homework help and recess duty. You meet all our students at the school and build a relationship with them. You are responsible for planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation of your own teaching. Support is available through the work team and EHT through, for example, supervision and consultation from special educators, counselors, and school psychologists.

You actively participate in collegial development work and develop operations together with colleagues. The school has collegial learning where both subject-specific and general didactic issues are addressed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license and are qualified in the subject of music. You are passionate about making the music subject accessible to our students. You are well acquainted with assessment and steering documents. You enjoy taking personal responsibility for your subject, but also working in a team with other teachers. We place great importance on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who is a secure pedagogical leader and who finds ways to motivate and organize for good learning. You enjoy engaging in school-wide activities where music is a part.
