Your Role

As an after-school teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on education in the after-school center based on the goals of the curriculum. You contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and educational environment where students have the opportunity to develop both socially and academically.

You work in the after-school center and collaborate with the school's other staff during the school day. With your musical competence, you play an important role in developing and enriching the activities. Through music activities, you create opportunities for students to express themselves, collaborate, and develop their creativity. We see music as a natural part of students' learning and development and welcome your ideas and initiatives.

The duties include, among other things:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on education and activities in the after-school center.
• Supporting students in their learning during school hours.
• Creating structure and safety through clear leadership.
• Collaborating with guardians, colleagues, and other professionals at the school.
• Participating in systematic quality work and contributing to the development of the activity.

Your Experience

We are looking for you who:

• Are educated and licensed as an after-school teacher.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Have good knowledge and insight into the school's governing documents and apply them in your daily work.
• Have music as a specialization or good competence and experience within music.
• Have experience in planning, organizing, and conducting after-school activities and musical activities, including graduations and other celebrations.
• Can conduct teaching in one or more subjects as needed.
• Have good didactic and pedagogical skills upon which your planning and teaching are based.
• Have the ability to adapt activities, structure, and communication to students' different needs.

Harlösa School is a K-6 school with approximately 100 students and is part of the school area Härlösa/Flyinge/Ölyckeskolan with a common principal.
