We are approximately 400 colleagues at the administration, and our role is to provide residents with the right tools so they can take responsibility for their own development and livelihood.

Job Responsibilities

Komvux Helsingborg is the city of Helsingborg's own provider of adult education, offering Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), Parent Swedish, basic and upper secondary adult education, as well as special education for adults. As part of the Employment Administration, we also conduct teaching in various labor market and integration initiatives. Our size and breadth offer many opportunities for varied and exciting work.

We are looking for an SFI teacher to teach students on Study Path 1, Courses A and B. In addition to language instruction, we offer a vocational-oriented program for full-time students, where participants gain insight into the Swedish working life and various industries.

As a substitute teacher on an hourly basis, you are responsible for conducting lessons according to the regular teacher's planning. For longer substitute periods, this also includes planning the teaching and selecting suitable teaching materials based on the group's needs, with support.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• has experience teaching adults
• has worked with Study Path 1, Courses A and B
• has SFI authorization and teacher certification (meritorious)

As a person, you have good leadership skills in the classroom and can inspire students. You can collaborate and, together with colleagues, take responsibility for all parts of the teaching. You are skilled at seeing the individual's potential and have the ability to adapt teaching to individuals. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. Evening classes are included in the position, one evening per week.

Experience is required.
