About the Role

As a summer substitute within the Drift Technician Education program at Astar, you will step into an important role where you are responsible for driving the entire education forward together with the participants. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching with a focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical moments related to operations, maintenance, and technical systems.

The teaching is based on a clear structure where you actively lead the learning, guide the participants step by step, and ensure that they develop the right competencies for work in the industry. You work continuously with feedback and follow-up to create progression and achieve results.

A central part of the role is to make the education relevant to working life. You contribute to strengthening the connection to the drift technician profession by clarifying how the knowledge is used in real environments, and you collaborate as needed regarding APL (Apprenticeship/Work Placement) to ensure quality and learning.

As a substitute with us, you become part of a work team where support and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life. You are expected to take responsibility for the teaching here and now, while having colleagues close by to help you succeed in the assignment.

In the role, it is important that you work in a structured manner, take responsibility for the participants' development, and contribute to a learning environment with high expectations, clarity, and a strong belief in every individual's ability to succeed.

We are looking for someone who has

• Education as a Drift Technician
• At least 2 years of experience from the industry

It is a strong merit if you are trained as a vocational teacher in the area or have previous experience in educating adults or high school students. Possibility of extension and permanent position may exist for a trained or experienced teacher in the subject.
