Field Service Technician for assignments in Stockholm and surrounding areas
On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a driven and technically interested Field Service Technician for a long-term consulting assignment in Stockholm. About the assignment
As a Field Service Technician, you work on-site at customer locations and are responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment in various environments. Assignments vary between customers in sectors such as finance, retail, and office operations. You will be based out of an office in Stockholm and work throughout the Stockholm area as well as nearby regions, such as Uppsala. Travel to different customer sites is a natural part of the daily routine.
Assignment period: 2026-09-01 – 2027-03-31
Scope: 100%
Location: Stockholm

Responsibilities
In this role, you will work with tasks including but not limited to:
- Installation and troubleshooting of POS systems, servers, and network solutions in retail environments
- Installation, service, and troubleshooting of ATMs
- Installation and support of PC workstations and servers
- Installation and troubleshooting of network equipment such as switches and access points
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software, primarily in Microsoft Windows environments
- Installation, repair, and replacement of hardware
- Incident management and IMAC-related assignments (Install, Move, Add, Change)
We are looking for someone who
Has a technical background and a strong interest in IT and technology. You may have worked in IT support, technical service, or installation, or alternatively have experience from construction, electrical, or similar practical professions combined with a strong interest in technology.
We would like you to have:
- Several years of experience with installation, hardware, networks, printers, or other technical peripheral equipment
- Good familiarity with working in Windows environments
- Experience in troubleshooting and technical support
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in collaboration with others
- A structured, service-oriented, and flexible work approach
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers on-site
- Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Valid B-class driver's license
