About Us

Skiftinge Health Centre is an established primary care clinic with approximately 11,500 registered patients and over 50 employees. The clinic is located in the northern part of Eskilstuna, bordering the countryside. Primary care serves as the residents' first natural point of contact with the healthcare system, offering services such as doctor consultations, district nurse visits, rehabilitation, a family centre with a child health centre, and preventive work. We are also responsible for medical interventions in nursing homes.

Your Responsibilities

As a medical secretary at our clinic, you will have a multifaceted role working closely with all employees of various professions, including:

• Medical record writing, using Cosmic as our electronic health record system since September
• Handling referrals
• Registering patients to the appropriate care unit
• Managing access cards and keys
• Document scanning
• Reception and cash desk duties, where many service functions are handled via telephone and digital channels such as 1177 and Vårdkontakt Direkt
• Mail handling
• Participating in team work for prioritizing care needs alongside doctors, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed a medical secretary education. Further education in IT is an advantage. As a secretary in primary care, you play a vital role in patient contact and are often "our face to the outside world." We seek someone who puts the patient first with a welcoming attitude, is service-oriented and flexible, can adapt to varying work paces, and maintains a positive attitude. Some remote work may be possible.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities and teamwork skills.

Employment Type

Fixed-term full-time position for one year. Start date according to agreement.
