About Us

Since 2015, Arken Zoo has been part of the Nordic region's largest pet retail chain concept, Musti Group, and has 140 stores in Sweden. To the group's central warehouse in Eskilstuna, with 160 employees, we are now looking for a secure and experienced HR Business Partner who will support our managers at the warehouse. You will also function as HR support for the Swedish retail operations and support regional managers and store managers.

Responsibilities and Tasks

As an HRBP, you are part of our Swedish HR function and report to our Swedish HR Manager. The role is split with a focus on warehouse operations two days a week and retail operations three days a week.

We are looking for you who thrive with both operational and strategic HR work and who are a business-close partner to the organization's managers in the work of developing a safe and efficient workplace with engaged employees who enjoy their jobs.

The position is located at the central warehouse in Eskilstuna, but we would like your presence at our Swedish headquarters in Solna, where your manager and HR colleagues are located, a couple of days a month. Our "remote work policy" makes it possible to work remotely up to two days a week.

Examples of concrete tasks:

• Drive and participate in the development of HR processes such as performance management, recruitment, onboarding, competence development, and rehabilitation.
• Ensure consistent application of HR processes and policies.
• Support and coach managers in leadership, difficult conversations, and employment law issues.
• Drive and handle individual cases and other employment law processes.
• Negotiate with union partners (MBL, disciplinary cases, and dispute negotiations).
• Actively work with occupational health and safety issues.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a secure and stable advisor in complex and sometimes conflict-ridden situations. With strong HR competence and integrity, you build trust and good relationships. You are skilled at pedagogically strengthening our managers in HR matters and courageous in decision-making and communication. It is important that you can easily switch between different contexts and both find viable paths and get others on board when the situation is complex.

Your Qualifications

• Academic degree in Human Resources or other education with work experience relevant to the position.
• Several years of experience in qualified HR work, preferably as an HR Business Partner or similar.
• Very good competence in employment law (LAS, MBL, collective agreements).
• Documented experience in negotiation.
• Experience with dismissal processes and handling of difficult individual cases.
• Experience from labor-intensive operations with unionized employees.
• Experience working closely with managers and operational activities.
• Experience with occupational health and safety work.
• Experience from retail, grocery trade, or other multi-site operations is considered an advantage.
