Vocational Teacher for the Electrical and Energy Programme

We are looking for an engaged and certified vocational teacher for our Electrical and Energy Programme. In this role, you will teach students within the programme and be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the teaching.

We are looking for you who have a teaching certificate with eligibility to teach in the relevant subjects. You have good subject knowledge, a genuine interest in young people's learning, and the ability to create a safe and developmental learning environment.

Alternatively, you have long and well-documented experience from the electrical and energy industry and are assessed to have good prerequisites for teaching the vocational subjects of the programme. Experience of supervision, education, or onboarding of employees is meritorious.

We view positively applicants who are interested in complementing their competence through studies towards a vocational teacher certification.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, professional experience, and the ability to translate industry knowledge into teaching.

Experience of APL (Work Integrated Learning) collaboration and contacts with the business community is meritorious. We offer a workplace with engaged colleagues, close cooperation within the programme working group, and the opportunity to contribute to the development of future competence within the electrical and energy industry.

You will also act as a mentor for your students. As a person, you are structured, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating with colleagues, students, and industry representatives.
