We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications in Mathematics to join our pedagogical specialist organization.

About us

2047 Science Center works to strengthen the scientific capital of the population in Dalarna and is an integral part of the region's strategic competence supply. We serve as an arena for knowledge transfer. We operate a popular public experimental environment in Borlänge and have a pedagogical specialist organization linked to the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). It is this specialist organization that we now wish to strengthen with an additional certified mathematics teacher.

Together with our pedagogical specialist organization, you will work to strengthen pedagogical development work in schools. Within the framework of collegial learning, you will lead teaching development by creating lessons and student activities, observing teachers in the classroom, and modeling lessons to inspire and support colleagues.

We teach and inspire from preschool to upper secondary school, and we spread interest in natural sciences, technology, and mathematics to the general public of all ages.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with qualifications in Mathematics.

About the position

The position involves working with:

• Developing teaching materials and methods for teachers and students.
• Conducting our developed lessons (student activities) with students in Borlänge and Falu municipalities.
• Science center pedagogy in Borlänge to inspire and spread knowledge about mathematics, natural sciences, and technology.

The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%) starting on August 10, 2026. A six-month probation period applies. This is a holiday cover position.

2047 Science Center has its main office in Borlänge and a branch in Falun, where the operations primarily target students in the Falu municipality. Some work may also take place at other locations within the scope of our assignments. A B-class driver's license is therefore required. The work may occasionally involve evening and weekend duties.

By law, a certificate of conduct (extract from the police record) is required upon employment. This is ordered from the Police by the person offered the position.
