Medical Secretary for Child and Adolescent Healthcare in Gävle
In our child and adolescent healthcare department, we receive children in need of specialized medical care. We operate both outpatient and inpatient services with a focus on general pediatrics and neonatal care.
Children aged 0–17 with pediatric medical issues requiring specialist care come to our clinic in Gävle. Our services cover a variety of diagnostic groups within the medical field, such as cardiology, neurology, rheumatology, oncology, endocrinology, asthma and allergies, as well as gastrointestinal diseases.

Responsibilities
Your tasks here are rotating and involve equal responsibility for the administrative duties associated with being a medical secretary at the children's clinic. The schedule offers a good structure, providing varied and stimulating work. As a medical secretary, you play a vital role in the administrative work surrounding our patients, and we always strive to optimize our workflows. Remote work opportunities are available, although the role also requires on-site presence.
As a medical secretary with us, you will work with:
- Medical record writing in Cosmic
- Diagnosis and procedure coding
- Handling of referrals
- Certain mail handling

Qualifications

In the role of medical secretary, you should:
- Be trained as a medical secretary
