Our client, Nordic Heating, is looking for you to become an important piece of the puzzle in their egalitarian and warm team!
About the role
Our client, Nordic Heating, has been delivering reliable heating solutions for over 20 years. They are general agents and wholesalers for a wide range of pellet, wood, and designer stoves, selling to customers across the country. Their base is located in Forsbacka (between Gävle and Sandviken), where they have offices, a warehouse, and a large stove showroom. Nordic Heating is a stable and thriving family-owned company with approximately 15 employees. They value growing at a calm, controlled pace, and here you will meet an egalitarian and family-like community where everyone helps each other out!
As an Economic Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting their finance team and ensuring smooth processes. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and gradually take on more responsibilities as you develop in the role.
Initially, you will work approximately 1 day per week alongside your studies, with the goal of increasing this over time.

Responsibilities
As an Economic Assistant, you will become a key pillar in the daily administration and work across the group's companies. You will start with simpler tasks to gradually learn more and take on greater responsibility.
In the role, you will work with, among other things:
- Accounting and bookkeeping: Handle purchases and reconcile them monthly against the bank.
- Accounts payable/receivable management: Handle ongoing supplier invoices (registration, approval, payment) and assist with customer invoicing and registration of payments.
- ROT tax deduction administration: Manage the important reporting and applications to the Swedish Tax Agency regarding ROT for the group's companies.
- Finance administration: Keep track of finance emails, handle reminders, and support with financial matters.
We are looking for someone who
- Is studying a post-secondary education in economics, preferably with a focus on accounting for at least 50 %.
- Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English, as they have global supplier contacts.
It is meritorious if you have
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, including debit and credit as well as input/output VAT.
