Surgical Department Seeks Medical Secretary in Hudiksvall

The Surgical Department has a county-wide mandate and has clinics and wards in both Hudiksvall and Gävle. We are looking for a medical secretary based in Hudiksvall.

Surgery in Hudiksvall consists of an inpatient ward, a surgical clinic, and an endoscopy clinic. We provide both emergency and planned care within the specialties of urology, plastic surgery, upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, and vascular surgery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to develop our operations with us. Together with other medical secretaries, you will be responsible for patient-oriented administrative work at the clinic. Our medical secretaries work in various teams focused on these specialties. As a medical secretary with us, you play a vital role in the administrative work surrounding our patients, enjoy a dynamic and developmental role, and are a natural part of a dedicated work group. You will also become an important team member alongside doctors, nurses, medical secretaries, and assistant nurses.

As a medical secretary with us, you will work with among other things:

Healthcare documentation and registration in various care systems
Diagnostic classification
Quality registers
Mentoring our medical secretary students
All other secretarial tasks occurring within both outpatient and inpatient care

For this position, previous experience with Region Gävleborg's care system Cosmic is meritorious but not a requirement.
