Our client, SKF in Hofors, is now looking for a part-time Archive Assistant responsible for digitalizing and structuring the organization's historical archives.

The company develops industry-leading solutions that reduce friction and contribute to increased energy efficiency and a more sustainable society. SKF Coupling is part of SKF Sverige AB with production in Hofors and is a world leader in rigid shaft couplings for, among other sectors, marine and energy.
They are now looking for a student who wants to work part-time to digitalize their large archive to future-proof documentation and make the archive both digital and searchable. A perfect role for you who is studying and wants to gain practical experience at an established company.

Responsibilities
As an Archive Assistant, you are responsible for important parts of the digitalization and structuring of the company's historical archives, as well as ensuring that documents become searchable and accessible to the organization. You play a central role in ensuring a secure transition from physical to digital format and serve as operational support for the site's various departments.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Scanning and digitalizing physical documents and historical records.
- Structuring, organizing, and creating digital folders for the various departments of the business.
- Careful handling and sorting of sensitive paper archives.
- Collaborating with relevant functions at the site and contributing your own thoughts and ideas on how the structure can best be optimized according to business needs.
We are looking for you who
- Are studying a post-secondary education at least 50%.
- Have good computer and system skills.
- Have a genuine interest in structure, planning, and digital handling.
- Are fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing, as the tasks require it.
It is an advantage if you have
- Previous experience in administrative work or archive management.
- Experience in image processing or scanning technology.

- Stable - You have high endurance and enjoy work tasks that are more monotonous and repetitive in nature. You maintain your focus and accuracy even when performing the same type of tasks over a longer period.
- Responsible - We see that you take responsibility for your tasks and work independently. You see what needs to be done and are happy to contribute your own thoughts and ideas.
