Process Manager / Business Developer in Tourism and Cooperative Collaboration for Coompanion Gävleborg – Project Go X!

What is Go X?

Rural tourism in Gävleborg has enormous potential, but small businesses often need to collaborate more to gain visibility and grow. In the Go X project, Destination Hälsingland AB, Coompanion Gävleborg, Hela Sverige ska leva X-ing Gävleborg, and Gästriklands Besöksnäring join forces.

Our common goal? To transform local hidden gems into bookable experience packages in selected pilot communities and bring them together on a modern, digital platform.

Your role with us at Coompanion

As our new Process Manager, you will be the unifying force out in the rural communities. You will drive processes where businesses and associations move from working individually to packaging their unique experiences together through smart, cooperative business models.

You will:

• Coach and Package: Guide entrepreneurs in creating attractive, bookable travel and experience packages.
• Build Collaboration: Inspire local actors to organize themselves into economic associations/cooperatives to solve common challenges in marketing and logistics.
• Lead Processes: Arrange creative workshops and meetings in the pilot communities to gather the area's passionate individuals and business owners.

Who are you?

You are a natural relationship builder who loves meeting people and getting things done. You understand the conditions of the tourism industry and are driven by seeing individuals, businesses, and places develop and grow.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in business development, coaching, or process management.
• A good understanding of tourism, travel, and rural development.
• A strong interest in cooperative entrepreneurship and sustainability (Agenda 2030).
• A valid driver's license (Category B) and access to a car (as you will be traveling throughout the county).

• Scope: Part-time (80 %).
• Employment Type: Project employment until June 2030 (start August 2026).
• Location: Gävleborg, with flexibility for travel.
