Your Assignment

The investigator/analyst position within the Welfare Sector covers a broad assignment with a focus on preparing cases, handling state grants, cross-sectoral tasks, and supporting the sector's management.

A central part of the work is to prepare and provide material for the committee in the form of administrative proposals, statements, and remiss responses. The assignment involves continuous production of decision-making materials and close cooperation with the sector's management and other functions in the organization.

The role also includes responsibility for state grants, which means following current calls for applications, coordinating applications, and handling follow-up and reporting.

The investigator/analyst position also includes a number of cross-sectoral tasks, such as work with the housing supply survey, rent negotiations, and handling of association grants. These parts involve both practical work and contacts with other actors, both internally and externally.

An important part of the assignment is to be a support to the sector manager and the sector's management, for example by providing material, making summaries, and contributing to analysis work related to the operation's planning, follow-up, and development.

Archives and Document Management

The investigator/analyst also has overall responsibility for the Welfare Sector's archives and document management. This means keeping together and developing the work on how documents are handled within the sector, so that it is done in a structured and correct manner.

The assignment includes providing support to the operations in questions regarding document management, contributing to ensuring that routines are followed regarding registration, archiving, and destruction, and collaborating with the municipality's central functions within the registry and archives.

The work is largely practical and is about creating order and clarity, while ensuring that legal requirements are met and that information can be found and followed over time.

The investigator/analyst reports directly to the sector manager and works in a broad and varied role with tasks that follow the operation's monthly and annual calendar. The position involves close cooperation with the sector manager through regular weekly check-ins for planning, follow-up, and prioritization of ongoing work.

The tasks also include supporting the committee's politicians by providing material, answering questions, and assisting in various investigation and development issues. The role requires good cooperation skills, sensitivity, and the ability to adapt the work based on the needs of the operation and politics.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who have relevant post-secondary education or other education and documented experience that the employer considers equivalent. If you also have work experience as an investigator/analyst within public administration, we consider it an advantage.

To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of the municipality's organization and knowledge of appropriate legislation for the assignment. Furthermore, you need to have very good writing skills and very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

A work test will be applied during the recruitment process.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive processes forward in a structured manner. You have the ability to identify development and improvement areas and act proactively to create good results.

In the role of investigator/analyst, you are persistent, efficient, and maintain focus even when faced with challenges or setbacks. You act in accordance with made decisions, current regulations, policies, goals, and guidelines.

You have a good ability to understand and analyze complex linguistic material, both oral and written. Through your analytical approach, you can see connections, handle complex issues, and find well-founded solutions to problems.

It is also important that you can plan, organize, and prioritize the work in an efficient manner and set and keep timeframes. You see the whole picture and take into account the larger perspective. You consider the administration's best interest in action and decisions.
