About Us

Do you want to become part of an engaged team in beautiful Karlsborg? Närhälsan Karlsborg Health Centre is now looking for a new colleague who wants to help further develop our operations. Here, you will work in a stable workgroup with good cohesion and a warm work climate where collaboration and well-being are in focus.

We are a well-functioning rural health centre with permanent staff, satisfied patients, and newly renovated, modern facilities that create an inspiring work environment. The health centre has a catchment area of approximately 7,000 patients and offers a broad range of activities, including assessment clinics, elderly care clinics, Child Health Centres (BVC), mental health services, laboratories, foot care, and mobile home care. We collaborate closely with the rehabilitation unit and the Maternal and Child Health Centre (MVC) for a cohesive care chain.

About the Job

Your duties at the health centre span a broad field and include the area of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and therapeutic capacity in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both emergency and planned activities. In addition to nursing work at the health centre within the general medical field, you will work part-time independently with your own clinic for diabetes patients, where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues at the unit and cross-professionally in the team, as well as with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health centre management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Training future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.

About You

You are a registered nurse and have additional education in Diabetes of at least 15 higher education credits. Previous experience working as a Diabetes Nurse and/or in primary care is meritorious.

We are looking for you who take initiative in your work and are confident in making your own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can prioritize your tasks effectively.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener during both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We would appreciate it if you had an interest in digitalization and operational development.

Travel for work purposes occurs, a Category B driver's license is required.

Interviews at the health centre will be held on a rolling basis.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call current candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
