Barn- and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Skaraborg is now seeking a psychotherapist with CBT training for our clinics in Mariestad or Skövde.

Welcome to an engaged team at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry unit within Skaraborg Hospital, which needs reinforcement as a psychotherapist.

The Operations

BUP Skaraborg is responsible for specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents belonging to our outpatient clinics in Mariestad and Skövde, as well as BUP emergency responsibility. We meet children and adolescents aged 0-18 years and their families.

Here, we work with a cross-professional team consisting of administrative staff, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, nurses, and assistant nurses, with a focus on providing our patients with the best possible care. We have an open climate, high competence, and a strong focus on both patient and employee well-being.

Job Responsibilities

You will work with assessing and treating patients individually, in family constellations, and/or in groups. We work in cross-professional teams, and collaboration with other agencies is an important part of the work.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed psychotherapist with CBT training. Previous experience of working within BUP and trauma treatment is meritorious. We are looking for you who have experience working in teams and also enjoy working independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other

Choose which clinic you want to work at; Mariestad or Skövde. Some possibility of remote work may exist.

Since the work sometimes takes place outside the clinic, a Category B driving license is desirable.

For appointments within psychiatry, we request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records register. This request is handled by the employer.
