About Us

Närhälsan Krokslätt Health Centre, Child Health Centre (BVC), and the Clinic for Young People's Mental Health are located in Mölndal, on the border of Gothenburg. We are approximately 35 employees responsible for around 9,500 registered patients. All employees have high competence, great commitment, and value cross-professional collaboration for the benefit of patients and the organization.

The health centre offers a comprehensive range of care services, including a doctor's clinic, nurse and district nurse clinics, as well as a laboratory and a drop-in clinic. The Child Health Centre provides child health services. The health centre also has the additional assignment of Young People's Mental Health, which focuses on children and young people with mental ill-health and support for their relatives. The work involves assessment, counseling, and treatment both individually and in groups.

The entire health centre works together to meet our patients' needs with high medical quality and good treatment. In the same building as the health centre, there is also a Youth Clinic, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), Public Dental Health Services, and Maternal Health Centre.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health centre span a broad field and include the area of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and therapeutic capacity in primary care, both via telephone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work takes place through both emergency and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues at the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home healthcare and other specialist care. Together with your colleagues and your manager, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.

About You

You are a registered nurse with specialist education as a district nurse. It is advantageous if you have experience from working in primary care and/or have a 7.5 ECTS supervisor education, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates. If you are interested in working at the Child Health Centre (BVC), this is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can prioritize your tasks effectively.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, sensitive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and that collaborating with colleagues and other contacts is second nature to you. You can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would appreciate it if you had an interest in digitalization and operational development.

Travel for work purposes occurs, a Category B driver's license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates to a telephone interview. The hiring manager then makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
