Hospitals in the West is a department within the Region of Västra Götaland and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Primary Hospital, Högsbo Primary Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. We are now looking for licensed radiographers for Radiology at Kungälv Hospital and Angered Primary Hospital. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop in a modern operation with an important role in the care chain and access to a broad diagnostic service.

Radiology is part of the Diagnostic and Service area within Hospitals in the West. The operation includes conventional radiology, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and some interventional activities. The area also includes the Healthcare Pharmacy and Medical Technology.

About the role

As a radiographer with us, you become an important part of the patient's care journey. You meet patients from many different departments and contribute your expertise to create security, quality, and good diagnostics.

The work is varied and involves close collaboration with colleagues within radiology and other professions at the hospital. Together, we work based on each patient's unique needs and conditions.

You will work at the radiology clinics at Kungälv Hospital and Angered Primary Hospital. We are approximately 90 employees who together are responsible for an operation characterized by high quality, good service, and a strong patient focus.

Currently, we work according to individual schedules with day, evening, weekend, and night shifts. The inconvenient working hours are scheduled at Kungälv Hospital, as Angered Primary Hospital is a day hospital.

• Licensure as a radiographer

Merits

• Previous experience working within radiology
• Good technical competence in MRI (Philips)
