Adult Psychiatric Mobile Team

We have a need to recruit a new employee. Our ambition is to offer and create the conditions for stimulating, exciting, and interesting work with good development opportunities.

The Adult Psychiatry clinic is seen as the base of the specialist psychiatric activity, where the goal is, as far as possible, to investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate in the patient's immediate environment. The target group is primarily people who need psychiatric specialist care for, for example, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, anxiety conditions, dual diagnosis (mental disorder/illness with simultaneous abuse/dependence), and investigation and treatment of ADHD. We continuously develop care with new methods and have received additional funding to be able to offer patients the right interventions.

You will join a unit with well-established colleagues and a good work community. We are divided into teams consisting of doctors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, and secretaries.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in the mobile team, you provide care and treatment in the patient's immediate environment as an alternative or complement to hospital care. The purpose is to provide support and counseling to facilitate leave, new onset of illness, or deterioration. The team also conducts assessments.

You also work with advice and support for relatives and provide consultancy services to other healthcare providers. Interventions are based on referral orders; they can be acute or planned but are always time-limited.

Working Hours

In the mobile acute team, work hours are between 15:00–01:00, one day a week 15:15–01:00, and you have shifts every other weekend. The team is available every day of the year. The basic staffing consists of two nurses.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse. Specialist education and experience from psychiatric activity are meritorious. The work requires personal maturity, experience and enjoyment of working independently and being able to make quick decisions. You should be stress-resistant and able to handle a high work pace with "many balls in the air".

We assume that you are structured, clear, orderly, and flexible, as well as having a desire and interest in working and being part of a team. We place great importance on personal suitability and value qualities such as flexibility and good social competence, where humor, forward-thinking, and positive thinking are clear merits.

In the long term, we offer the opportunity to undergo specialist nurse education.
