Are you interested in pulmonology and internal medicine and want to be part of the development of our operations? Then you might want to join us!

The Pulmonary and Medicine Department investigates and treats patients with conditions such as lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and sarcoidosis. We also care for internal medicine patients with systemic diseases and diseases of the body's internal organs. We treat patients with newly diagnosed or deteriorating diabetes and infections. Investigations for anemia and cancer diagnoses without a known primary tumor also take place here. Patients requiring complex investigations or unstable patients for whom ICU is not an option are also cared for by us. On the department, we handle everything from acute care to patients in the end-of-life stage. The care patients receive includes drainage, oxygen, and ventilator treatment, cough assist machines, tracheostomy care, and palliative care. As a nurse, you will encounter both emergency care and nursing care, with short, quick interactions mixed with more long-term relationships.

We are now looking for nurses who want to help develop and expand our operations. Currently, we have 16 beds and will be expanding to 28 beds.

Requirements

A valid nursing degree is required for the position, along with good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You must have the ability to quickly adapt and adjust your work pace based on different situations during your shift. We value your ability to make independent decisions and perform your work autonomously. You have a good ability to take initiative, have a positive attitude, are flexible, and collaborate easily.

You see it as a positive thing to share your experiences with others and have a curious attitude towards your own learning.

The length of the introduction and shadowing period on the pulmonary and medicine department is assessed based on your individual competence and needs to ensure you have the best possible start.

We want you to feel that you make a difference every day. The work includes day, evening, night shifts, and weekends.

Experience in pulmonary medicine specialty.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will participate in the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introduction program. The Clinical Foundation Year is mandatory and lasts for the first year of your employment with us. It includes introduction days, supervision and training days, as well as observation days. The purpose of the Clinical Foundation Year is to create good conditions for newly graduated nurses to strengthen their theoretical knowledge, practice skills, and grow into their new profession.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
