Description

At Lysekil Culture School, we see a need to strengthen our team ahead of the autumn term 2026, and we are therefore looking for someone who can take responsibility for teaching dance.

After more than twenty years, our former dance teacher is ending her employment with us, and we are looking for someone who can build on her work and take responsibility for the approximately 100 students active in the subject.

At the Culture School, music, theater, and dance teachers work together, and teaching takes place during both school hours and leisure time.

Responsibilities

You plan and conduct dance education for students between the ages of 10 and 18. The teaching covers beginner to advanced levels.

As a teacher, you are responsible for your students and work to maintain good contact with the students and their guardians. The role also includes administrative tasks such as attendance reporting, etc.

You will be part of a work team with the coordinator for the Culture School, as well as music and theater pedagogues.

Qualifications

We would prefer that you have experience teaching jazz and show dance.

Experience teaching other dance styles is an asset. As an organization that values development, we are open to testing new concepts alongside our current focus on show dance.

Great importance is placed on your personal qualities. You should have high social competence, a positive view of people, the ability to create structure, and provide a welcoming attitude.

Conditions

Permanent employment.

Part-time, 60%.

Start date in connection with the beginning of the term, autumn term 2026.
