Job Description

Ytterbyskolan is now looking for a teacher with experience and competence in Spanish and another subject, starting in August 2026.

We are Kungälv's largest secondary school with 20 classes, where we work in subject and grade teams to create the best possible conditions for our students. You will be part of secure and stable subject and grade teams with high qualifications. Based on the school's core values of warmth, learning, and future, you will be an important part of a team where you and your colleagues share mentorship and responsibility for the students in your team. The school has a complete student health team aimed at supporting the teams' processes. With shared knowledge and experience, we aim to create context, continuity, and progression in the student's development and learning. Here, we believe in working together!

In the coming school years, our joint focus will be directed towards developing our leadership and our extra adaptations in our classrooms. This will happen in parallel with the school undergoing renovations to be new and fresh by 2027. If you are looking for a fresh start in a stable, developing organization, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities

• You teach with guidance and stimulation for an accessible learning environment in your subject, based on the current curriculum.
• You contribute competence, innovation, systematic work, and a willingness to collaborate in the team's work on extra adaptations, safety, study environment, and cross-subject collaborations.
• You act as a secure adult in your role as a mentor for a group of students.
• You work formatively with the students' knowledge and document continuously in our shared tool, Unikum.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with qualifications to teach grades 6–9 in Spanish and possibly another subject.

Learning for you takes place in trusting relationships, and you collaborate professionally with our students' guardians. Knowledge of digital learning tools for students in need of support is considered an advantage.

Great importance will be attached to personal qualities.
