Ytterbyskolan is now seeking experience and competence in the subject of music and another subject, starting in August 2026.

We are Kungälv's largest secondary school with 20 classes. We work in subject and work teams to create the best possible conditions for our students. You will be part of secure and stable subject and work teams with high qualifications.

Guided by the school's core values of warmth, learning, and future, you will be an important part of a team where you, together with your colleagues, share mentorship and responsibility for the team's students. The school has a comprehensive student health team aimed at supporting the teams' processes. In the coming school years, our joint focus will be directed towards developing our leadership and our extra adaptations in our classrooms. Responsibilities

• You teach with guidance and stimulation for an accessible learning environment in your subject, based on the current curriculum.
• You contribute competence, innovation, systematic work, and a willingness to collaborate in the team's work regarding extra adaptations, security, study environment, and cross-subject collaborations.
• You act as a secure adult in your role as a mentor for a number of students.
• You work formatively with students' knowledge and document continuously in our common tool, Unikum.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with qualifications for teaching in grades 7–9 in music and potentially another subject.

Learning for you takes place in trusting relationships, and you collaborate professionally with our students' guardians. Knowledge of digital learning tools for students in need of support is considered advantageous. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
