Our vision shows the direction forward, and our keywords – courage, respect, and co-creation – guide us in how we work every day. A good workplace culture and support for your personal development are important to us. Your contribution counts!
Description
At Munkegärdeskolan, all our 411 students are at the center. We work based on the municipality's keywords: courage, respect, and co-creation. We strive for a good work climate that stimulates students' motivation, sense of responsibility, and desire to learn.
Our school is a 7–9 grade school with a staff of approximately 45 employees. We have a comprehensive student health team consisting of school leadership, a special needs educator, a counselor, a school nurse, and a school psychologist. The school's Student and Career Counselor (SYV) works closely with the student health team and guides students in making future choices. Our students are given opportunities to develop into their best selves and acquire good knowledge to feel secure about the future. One of our focus areas is teaching quality, which we work on through clearer systematization and analysis of teaching based on scientific grounds and proven experience. We work systematically to ensure the work team collaborates around mentoring, planning, assessment, evaluation, and analysis of results as our central parts.
