About the job

Dickson's Care and Support Residence is looking for you who want a varied and developing role. You work close to operations according to schedule and are then a role model in the daily care work. With your commitment and competence, you support colleagues by mentoring them in practical work and contributing to safe and quality care for our residents. The role also involves training colleagues, driving development projects, and actively working to improve the quality of operations.

In your role as Care Mentor, you continuously plan the assignment together with the unit manager based on the needs of the operations. The focus is on providing support and mentoring employees in daily work, as well as long-term development and follow-up.

Your working hours are according to schedule including day, evening, and weekend, 38.25 hours/week.

About you

We are looking for you who:

• Are educated as an assistant nurse, can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title, or alternatively can show that you were employed as an assistant nurse when the new rules were introduced. Have a university college education of at least 200 YH in care and support, or a university education that the employer considers relevant for the position.
• Are well rooted in the salutogenic approach and the national value base. Have good knowledge in creating implementation plans according to IBIC and have good knowledge of the Social Services Act.
• Have good computer skills for documentation and deviation handling in various IT systems, as well as good Swedish language skills both in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Training in how to train in star marking
• Experience working with the BPSD register
• Education in pedagogy.

Personal qualities:

You are pedagogical, clear in your communication, and have an easy time explaining complex things in a simple way. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and can adapt your approach to different situations.

You have the ability to explain problems and information to different recipients and from different perspectives.
