About the job

Do you want to work close to the sea in a beautiful archipelago environment? We are now looking for assistant nurses for home care in the Southern Archipelago. There are also decisions regarding a salary supplement of 2,250 SEK for permanent staff in healthcare and social care in the Southern Archipelago, valid until 2027-03-31.

The ferry ride here takes approximately 20 minutes from Saltholmen pier. We recommend checking Västtrafik's journey planner to see how long the commute is from your nearest stop. You must be at Saltholmen at 06:00 to take the ferry to Styrsö Skäret or Brännö Rödsten to work a morning shift. On the website https://www.goteborg.com/guiders/en-guide-till-skargarden-sodra-oar (https://www.goteborg.com/guider/en-guide-till-skargarden-sodra-oar) you can find more information about the Southern Archipelago.

You will be an important support in people's daily lives and perform care and social work in people's own homes. You motivate and stimulate the elderly based on their individual conditions, needs, and wishes. The interventions are granted based on assistance decisions and can vary from personal care, support around meals, support in social activities, and certain health and medical tasks, as well as collaboration with relatives.

You will be exposed to many people's life situations, which can be both interesting and challenging. As an employee in home care, you work independently but also together with others in the shared care and social work. The workday starts and ends at our premises in Styrsö or Brännö.

All social documentation is done digitally. If you have not previously used the systems used within Gothenburg City, you will receive training in them.

The people we meet need support during the day, evening, and weekends. Your working hours are therefore scheduled.
