About Elderly Care in Tidaholm

Our operations cover four elderly residences, three of which are located in central Tidaholm and one in the scenic Ekedalen. Together, we work to create a safe, active, and pleasant everyday life for our residents.

About the role of Activity Coordinator

We want to give our residents more than just care and support – we want to give them a life filled with meaning, community, and joy.

As an Activity Coordinator, you will become a key person in our team, playing an important role in planning, coordinating, and implementing activities that contribute to quality of life and community. You base your work on the interests and needs of the elderly and create varied content that brings both joy and stimulation. You work closely with care staff and external actors to create a daily life that promotes participation, quality of life, and community.

The role includes among other things:

Planning, leading, and developing activities that strengthen health, social interaction, and meaningfulness. Working with culture, music, movement, digital aids, and creative elements that stimulate memory, joy, and community. You collaborate with colleagues and external actors to develop a rich and varied activity program.

As an Activity Coordinator in Tidaholm Municipality, you are also responsible for a future digital welfare bank. Therefore, it is important that you have an interest in technology and the willingness to learn new things, dare to try, and pedagogically teach how digital aids/games/technology can be used to create an exciting activity program.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and can provide a certificate of a protected professional title.

We are looking for you who are sensitive, creative, have an interest in technology, and are unpretentious – a person who can inspire others, listen with presence, and create participation in every meeting. You have a genuine commitment to people and always see opportunities where others might see obstacles.

You must have a B driver's license, as travel is included in the position. The position also requires that you have Bank-ID. You must master the Swedish language very well in both speech and writing, have good computer skills, and be confident in using digital tools in your work.
