About Us

Närhälsan Rehabilitation Clinic in Solhem is a relatively large clinic with a long tradition of rehabilitation. 30 employees work at the clinic; the team consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and administrators. The operations are development-oriented and conducted within the framework of Vårdval (Healthcare Choice). As an employee at Närhälsan, you are offered various forms of development opportunities, for example, through internal training and mentorship programs. About the Job

Your tasks include assessment, treatment, and training. You will see patients of all ages with neurological injuries and diseases, both individually and in groups. The neuro-care team consists of four physiotherapists, two occupational therapists, and two speech-language pathologists. Care meetings take place both at the clinic and digitally. Prescription of assistive devices is included, and home visits are made based on the patient's needs.

The target group consists of patients who are newly or re-admitted after a stroke, as well as patients with other acquired brain injuries or neurological diseases assessed to need rehabilitation with the specific competence of the neuro-care team. The goal is, among other things, to offer an unbroken chain of care after hospitalization. Here, you will meet collegial support and a work environment characterized by collaboration and engagement. As a new employee, you will receive an introduction and a supervisor.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed speech-language pathologist with at least one year of clinical experience with patients with neurological injuries or cognitive impairments. Experience working within Vårdval Rehab is an advantage.

It is an advantage if you have advanced education in neurology/speech-language pathology/neuropsychology within the speech-language pathology field or other training in neurology/speech-language pathology.

You plan and organize your work based on set goals, with the ability to handle varying workloads and unforeseen situations in a structured manner. Furthermore, we see that you are receptive, communicative, and have the ability to identify the individual's unique needs. You enjoy collaborating – both in teams and with other relevant actors – and contribute to a work environment where cooperation and quality are in focus.
