The Care Administration is seeking care staff. Ten permanent positions with 100% employment rate, starting at the end of August.

Are you currently employed as a care assistant or support staff with us, or do you see a future within healthcare and care work?

Are you motivated to study to become a nurse assistant (undersköterska) over three terms while working as a care assistant?

Do you see a future in elderly care or disability services in Tanum Municipality?

Through the government's investment in the so-called "Elderly Care Boost" (äldreomsorgslyftet), we have the opportunity to offer education to become a nurse assistant or support assistant during employment for 10 people. The appointments are subject to necessary decisions being made.

You will study during paid working hours for 50% (the study pace is full-time) and work in the operations for the remaining 50%.

Job Responsibilities

You will work within elderly care throughout Tanum Municipality. You will work days, evenings, or nights, with a staffing requirement equivalent to at least two weekends out of four. During the time you are studying to become a nurse assistant/support assistant, you will have working hours during days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

  • You are flexible and have strong personal suitability for the tasks.
  • You have a high service level and a good attitude towards our care recipients and your colleagues.
  • You must be eligible for studies at the adult education upper secondary level. If Swedish is your second language, you must have a certificate showing you have passed up to and including grade 9 in the course "Swedish as a Second Language - Foundation".
  • You must be able to show that you have applied to the healthcare and care program starting in the autumn term of 2026. You apply for adult education in the municipality where you live. (More information about adult education in Tanum below). To be offered the position, you must be admitted to the education starting in autumn 2026.

You will be placed at one of our workplaces and join the work group. Monthly salary and other employment benefits according to the current collective agreement.
