Job Responsibilities

Glasbruksskolan is now looking for a primary school teacher for after-school programs (fritidshem)! As a primary school teacher for after-school programs, you are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessment in the after-school setting, creating an stimulating pedagogical activity based on the curriculum and other regulatory documents. The teacher is responsible for promoting the student's development and learning, finding strategies to reach every student, and strengthening them in both knowledge development and personal growth. The role involves offering students a meaningful leisure time, promoting diverse contacts, social community, and strengthening group relations. During school hours, the teacher collaborates with the school. The role may include teaching in one or more subjects at the school.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for after-school programs. Previous experience in the profession is meritorious. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's regulatory documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills that allow you to independently lead and organize your work to create a study-friendly environment and a good learning atmosphere for our students throughout the day. Your teaching is modern, developed based on evidence-based research, and you work efficiently with relevant digital tools with good knowledge and practice.
