Maxi ICA Stormarknad Toftanäs is now looking for an engaged and confident Cashier Supervisor who wants to help develop our front line. About the role

As a Cashier Supervisor, you work at the heart of the store's front line – the checkout, forecourt shop, café, and self-scanning. You are responsible for ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and that both customers and employees get the best possible experience.

The role involves operational leadership where you lead and distribute work during your shift, support colleagues in their daily tasks, and ensure that routines, checklists, and working methods are followed. You are an important role model in the team and contribute to creating structure, job satisfaction, and a high level of service.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and distribute daily work within checkout, forecourt shop, café, and self-scanning
• Ensure that routines, checklists, and working methods are followed
• Introduce and support new employees
• Coach and develop colleagues in daily work
• Work with short-term staffing planning and schedule adjustments
• Contribute to a high level of service and a positive customer experience
• Work with medicine, tobacco, café, and other forecourt shop routines
• Participate in steering meetings and follow-up of operations and key figures
• Handle and follow up on the store's camera system
• Support other departments as needed

About you

We are looking for you who have experience from the grocery retail industry and feel confident in the checkout line and the forecourt shop. You have natural leadership skills, enjoy helping others develop, and thrive in a role where you take responsibility.

You are structured, solution-oriented, and have the ability to remain calm even when the pace is high. At the same time, you are unpretentious, service-oriented, and see the importance of creating a positive experience for both customers and colleagues.

We are looking for you who want to contribute to a well-functioning front line where service, collaboration, and quality are in focus.

We are looking for someone who has

• At least 2–3 years of experience from the grocery retail industry
• Experience with checkout work, forecourt shop, and customer service
• Experience in leading staff or coordinating employees
• Good understanding of daily operations within the checkout line and forecourt shop
• Good administrative skills and computer literacy
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Advantageous is experience as a cashier supervisor, knowledge of ATG, Svenska Spel, PostNord, and medicines, as well as experience with café operations and ICA's internal systems.

About the employment

• Scope: Part-time, approx. 30 hours per week
• Working hours: Varying schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts
• Every other weekend is included in the position
• Late evening shifts occur as the store closes at 23:15
• Employment type: Permanent position with an initial probationary period
• Start: Immediately or as agreed
• Salary: According to collective agreement plus cashier supervisor supplement
