Our municipality offers varied living environments, nature near the sea, history, culture, and good service. Tierp is within commuting distance of Stockholm, Uppsala, and Gävle, and also offers the possibility to work partially remotely.
Our values are important, and together we work to realize our core values: respect, responsibility, customer focus, courage, and faith in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will teach grades 7–9 in one or more of the subjects Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. A teaching role at our school includes working in teams with collaboration, joint planning, and joint assessment, as well as actively participating in the school's development work.
The school's value base is Safety, Responsibility, Respect, and Empathy. This value base should underpin everything we do and plan. The staff at the school are responsible for creating the conditions and clarifying the expectations for students and their behavior, as well as the expectations students can have of us adults in the staff. To achieve this, we have chosen to work with IBIS (Inclusive Behavioral Support in School).
Another important part of the work is our Language and Knowledge-Developing Approach – SKUA. The goal is to develop methods and approaches used across all subjects at the school to give students better knowledge and higher academic results.
The school has developed various support structures and works to provide students with the support they need to succeed. We have created a base of general adjustments that students can benefit from, whether it is essential for success or simply makes things easier. Clarity is one of the areas we have focused on. Therefore, we use a model for how planning, lessons, and evaluation/assessment should look, which serves as a framework for how students should expect to encounter lessons.
