Palmbladsskolan is a grades 6-9 school with approximately 580 students located in Årsta/Slavsta. Palmbladsskolan also has a unit that provides distance education as special support. Description of duties

As a teacher in science subjects and technology at Palmbladsskolan, you teach grades 6-9. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching in your subject in accordance with the curriculum and other regulatory documents. You are also a mentor for a class together with a colleague. You are part of working groups and subject groups and participate in the school's overall work.

The position is a temporary assignment for one academic year, starting from 2026-08-10 until 2027-06-17. You will participate in collegial learning where, in close collaboration with your colleagues, you will help develop the operations. Together, we work to ensure that all students thrive and develop based on their individual prerequisites.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have teacher certification, or are awaiting certification, with eligibility to teach Science (NO) and Technology in grades 6–9. You have previous experience teaching grades 6–9 and possess IT skills with a focus on pedagogical work. The position requires good knowledge of the school's regulatory documents and the compulsory school curriculum.

Experience of collaborating within Science and Technology together with other subject teachers is meritorious. Good oral and written skills in Swedish are a prerequisite for the position. You collaborate well with others and relate to your surroundings in a listening and flexible manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way.
