RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach textile crafts in grades 3-6. A teaching role at our school includes working in teams with collaboration, joint planning, and joint assessment, as well as actively participating in the school's development work.

The school's value base is Safety, Responsibility, Respect, and Empathy. This value base should underpin everything we do and plan. The staff at the school are responsible for creating conditions and clarifying what expectations are placed on the students and their behavior, as well as what expectations the students can have of us adults in the staff. To achieve this, we have chosen to work with IBIS (Inclusive Behavioral Support in Schools).

Another important part of the work is our Language and Knowledge-Developing Approach - SKUA. The goal is to develop methods and approaches that will be used across all subjects in the school to give students better knowledge and higher academic results.

The school has developed various supports to stand on and works to give students the support they need to succeed. In this work, we have created a base of general adjustments for students to take advantage of, regardless of whether it is necessary to succeed or if it just simplifies things for the student. Clarity is one of the areas we have focused on, and therefore, one of the things we use is a model for how planning, lessons, and evaluation/assessment should serve as a framework for how students can expect to meet when they come to lessons.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed a qualifying teacher education.
• Qualification to teach and assess in textile crafts.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: 6 months or longer.
• Working hours: Daytime.
