Description of duties

The assignment includes teaching natural sciences and collaborating closely with colleagues who teach in general upper secondary and subject-specific courses. The role involves planning and following up on teaching both individually and in collaboration with colleagues.

You will participate and contribute to workgroup and subject group activities with your competence and experience to develop teaching and education through systematic quality work. The assignment includes being a mentor and supporting students in their knowledge development and well-being in collaboration with guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teacher certification in natural sciences, which is a basic requirement for the position. It is also an advantage if you have the eligibility to teach additional subjects, as this contributes to greater flexibility in teaching and operations.

You are flexible and adapt easily to changed conditions. You collaborate well with others, are responsive in your interactions, and contribute to a constructive work climate. Through your relationship-building skills, you create and maintain good contacts in professional contexts. You have pedagogical insight and adapt your way of conveying information based on the recipient's needs and conditions. With your leadership, you motivate and engage others, coordinate work towards common goals, and create participation in the group.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.
