Job Description: Preschool Teacher

Norlandia Preschools delivers education with high pedagogical quality in all our facilities. "New discoveries every day" is our ambition for every child, every day. Norlandia is a rapidly growing company with many exciting new projects underway. We strive to provide parents with a positive experience and offer family services that free up time from daily chores, allowing for more leisure time together.

We are innovative preschools that challenge the structures and operations of traditional preschools. Our working method is called EduZone and is unique to Norlandia. The children are divided into four groups; we do not have traditional departments, but rather a preschool consisting of four challenging educational environments where the whole child is given the opportunity to explore and develop all their abilities simultaneously. Of course, education must be based on scientific grounds and proven experience, but that doesn't mean we have to do things the way we always have! The preschool works in project form with a common focus area for the entire preschool. We have clear documents and digital platforms where we continuously and systematically document and follow up on all children's learning.

Digitalization in preschool is a given for us, so it is important that you are comfortable with digital tools, both pedagogically and practically. We use Office 365 as a platform for our systematic quality work and development, as well as Prion for documentation and communication with our guardians.

Responsibilities for Preschool Teacher

• Ensure that each child's individual and collective learning is documented.
• Work together with other preschool teachers to be pedagogically responsible and lead your work teams.
• Work to create a democratic climate in the group.
• Collaborate with the work team to offer children a good educational environment for development, play, and learning.
• Show joy in work and respect for parents and colleagues.
• Be responsible for developing a trusting relationship between you and the children's families.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

• Experience working in a preschool is an advantage.
• You must have a preschool teacher certification (legitimation).

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
