Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the Child and Youth Care work team. Your main tasks will be to teach future childcare workers/personnel within LSS (Social Services Act) operations. Subjects/courses included are, among others: pedagogy, social work, and health pedagogy. Some teaching will also take place on the Care and Nursing program. Mentoring for students in the Child and Youth Care program (BF) is included.

You are responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching as well as grading. With digital tools as natural elements in the work, you are given very good opportunities to work in a varied manner.

Qualifications

• You, as an applicant, preferably have a vocational teacher degree and/or long and solid work experience in the profession. We also wish that you have teaching experience.
• You adapt your teaching to the students' needs and prior knowledge and focus on the students' goal achievement.
• You are receptive, flexible, and collaborate well with other people.
• It is important that you value differences and understand how background, culture, and group membership affect yourself and others, and take this into account in teaching.
• You enjoy working with young people and have an understanding of their different needs.
