About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive physical education teacher (permanent position) to join our school, starting October 12, 2026!

As a PE teacher here, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of physical education and health classes. You will work to create joy in movement, safety, and community – both during lessons and at recess.

The role also includes:

• Leading recess activities three times a week
• Substituting for homeroom teachers during planning time according to the schedule

We are looking for someone who:

• has a teaching degree and license with a focus on physical education and health
• enjoys inspiring students towards movement and healthy habits
• possesses a secure leadership style and a warm commitment to student development

About the school

Uppsala Enskilda Skola is an independent F–5 school (grades 1–5) with approximately 260 students and is part of the Stiftelsen Liten Lär foundation.

We have ten classes and an after-school center offering an stimulating and safe environment for our students.

We are a dedicated and development-oriented staff group working together to ensure every student feels good, safe, and receives the right support and challenges in their learning.
