Fristadskolan is a lower secondary school (grades 7-9) located in central Fristad, 13 kilometers north of Borås. The school has just under 400 students. Our students come from both the central area of Fristad and smaller surrounding communities. The staff is organized into four work teams that collaborate to ensure every student has the best possible opportunity to succeed. The school is constantly developing and is characterized by a pleasant atmosphere where teachers cooperate and exchange experiences within and between subjects. Safety and well-being are a matter of course for both students and staff.

Your duties will consist of teaching in your subject or subjects. At Fristadskolan, all teachers work in work teams that are jointly responsible for four classes. The school is structured around these teams so that students have a secure environment, effectively making the large school feel like four smaller schools. We would appreciate it if you are interested in collaborating and working to help students develop as much as possible.

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach Swedish and one other subject for grades 7-9. You have high and positive expectations for all students. Your approach is motivating, and you work with significant student influence to give students various opportunities to develop. To succeed in the role, we also see that you have good collaboration skills and that you create safety, order, and structure in the classroom.
