Digitalization Department, Administrative Department

The Swedish Government Offices (Regeringskansliet) are in the midst of a comprehensive digital transformation. Driven by innovation, we are developing digital ways of working, collaboration models, and solutions that make everyday life easier and more efficient. Our mission is unique. We are building part of Sweden's digital backbone, and our services are used within the Government Offices and by over 100 Swedish embassies and consulates worldwide. We are now taking another step forward and strengthening our team with a Senior System Developer specializing in PEGA.

About the Role

As a PEGA System Developer, you will be part of an application team where, together with colleagues and vendors, you will be responsible for the development and operation of the PEGA Infinity platform. You will work at the interface between development and platform management.

Your responsibilities include analysis, design, troubleshooting, code review, test deployment, production support, and onboarding new team members into agile teams.

You have a clear area of responsibility but also feel a sense of ownership for the whole, where the team supports each other's progress.

You are curious, monitor developments within your field, and propose new solutions when necessary to ensure we deliver the most appropriate support for digitalization and new ways of working to our operations.

Your Background

We are looking for someone who has:

  • At least five years of experience as a system developer within PEGA
  • Experience working in large, complex organizations, preferably politically governed
  • Held some form of leadership role, such as team lead
  • At least SSA certification within PEGA

Experience and preferably certification in testing and/or requirements management are meritorious.

Your Personal Attributes

As a person, you are a true team player with strong communication skills. You have the ability to act independently and drive work forward. The role requires a high degree of independence, but also the ability to support and collaborate with employees in their work.

The Government Offices' employee criteria are: Holistic view, Development, Results.

Everyone working at the Government Offices must have a holistic perspective and collaborate for the benefit of the operations. You are expected to contribute your perspective and competence while being open to others. You will bring ideas and new approaches to improve and develop the operations and your own competence. You are results-oriented in your actions and adapt when needs and directions change.

Other Information

This is a permanent position starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The position is security-classified, and a security investigation with register check will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but may have a foreign background.
