In this role, you work as a consultant at the client's site and are part of a team responsible for the operation, support, and development of the organization's network services. You contribute your expertise in NSX-T and help drive the development of the network environment forward.

• Work as a network engineer in the client's infrastructure team

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of NSX-T solutions

• Collaborate with other technical specialists and teams

• Support and develop the organization's network platform

Your responsibilities are both operational and development-oriented, focusing on ensuring a stable, secure, and future-proof network environment.

• Participate in the design and implementation of NSX-T environments

• Support the establishment of new network solutions

• Work with operation, support, and troubleshooting in the network area

• Contribute to knowledge transfer and competence development within the team

• Document network solutions and changes

• Participate in improvement work and development of network services

To succeed in this assignment, you are a senior network engineer with deep technical competence in both traditional network infrastructure and software-defined networking.

• Specialist competence in VMware NSX-T (design, implementation, and operation)

• Experience with micro-segmentation and software-defined networking

• In-depth knowledge of NSX components such as Edge, DFW, ALB, and transit gateways

• Strong understanding of switching, routing, load balancing, WLAN, firewalls, and physical network infrastructure

• Experience working in larger and complex organizations

• Proficient in technical documentation and knowledge sharing

It is meritorious if you have experience with related technologies and working methods in modern infrastructure environments.

• Experience with migration to software-defined data centers

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar

• Basic knowledge of Ansible or Python

• Experience with agile working methods (e.g., SAFe)

You are an independent and structured person who thrives in a senior consultant role with significant responsibility. You have a good ability to prioritize and handle multiple parallel initiatives in a complex environment.

You are analytical and solution-oriented with a strong drive to create value for the business. At the same time, you are communicative and happy to share your knowledge with colleagues and teams.
