OKQ8 is undergoing a comprehensive modernization of our card issuing operations. As Product Owner Card Issuing, you will lead the implementation of a new Card-as-a-Service platform and help shape the future payment and card solutions for both private and corporate customers.

In this role, you have overall responsibility for driving digitalization, innovation, and development within OKQ8's card business. You play a key role in our digital transformation and lead the work to modernize and future-proof our card issuing solutions.

The role is part of OKQ8 Digital Product Development and entails end-to-end responsibility for the development, implementation, and management of our card issuing platform, from strategy and roadmap to delivery and operations.

About the role

As Product Owner Card Issuing, you will have a key role in modernizing OKQ8's card business. You are responsible for the development of our card issuing solutions and lead the implementation of a new Card-as-a-Service platform for both private and corporate customers.

The role involves end-to-end responsibility where you work closely with the business operations, the agile development team, external partners, and vendors to ensure our solutions meet both customer needs and business goals. You drive development forward, prioritize initiatives, and contribute to creating the future payment and card solutions at OKQ8.

You will primarily:

• Own and drive the development of the OKQ8 card issuing platform
• Lead the implementation of a new Card-as-a-Service platform and the decommissioning of existing solutions
• Prioritize and develop the product backlog in close collaboration with the business and stakeholders
• Collaborate with development teams, partners, and vendors to ensure successful deliveries
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements, security standards, and customer needs
• Prepare analyses, decision support materials, and business cases for investments and development initiatives
• Contribute to business development by identifying new services, payment solutions, and partnerships

We are looking for

You have experience working with card issuing, payment solutions, or financial IT within banking or payment companies. You have previously held roles as product owner, project manager, or manager with a focus on digital development, technical platforms, and customer-centric innovation.

You have the ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, and you thrive in the intersection between business, technology, and customer experience. You are motivated by seeing results and driven by creating real value for both customers and the business.

We believe you have

• Experience in card issuing, payments, or financial services.
• Experience in product ownership or product management within digital services.
• Experience working with external vendors and partners.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements within payments and financial services.
• Experience with agile ways of working.

Meritorious

• Experience with Card-as-a-Service platforms.
• Experience with migration from legacy platforms.
• Experience with Visa, Mastercard, or other card networks.
• Experience from banking, fintech, or payment companies.

Location: Stockholm, Sveavägen. Start date: According to agreement. Employment type: Permanent position with a six-month probation period.
