Summer substitutes and extra staff sought for young girl in Marieholm

We are now looking for hourly employees on an as-needed basis for a personal assistant position in Marieholm – right next to the train station, super convenient to commute from places like Helsingborg and Malmö!

We are looking for you who are women, reliable, engaged, and who genuinely enjoy helping other people. You are sensitive, responsible, and have the ability to create security and continuity in everyday life.

The position suits you if you want to work more during the summer and also have the opportunity to continue as extra staff on an as-needed basis after the summer.

About the Position

Your task will be to help the customer achieve a functional and valuable everyday life. It is important that you are comfortable working individually, are sensitive to the customer's needs, and can take responsibility.

"I am a small girl, 125 cm tall and weighing 33 kg. My development has stopped at the age of 2, but I have more life experience."

I need your help and support around the clock, every day of the week, from mornings through afternoons, as well as evenings, nights, and weekends. As my assistant, you will join me in various activities and at home.

Since I do not always sleep well at night, you will work awake nights with me.

Since it takes time to get to know me, and I want you, the applicant, to view your job as a longer commitment. It is important that you become a functioning part together with my other family members.

What you, as my assistant, should primarily do is assist with meals, personal hygiene, transfers, communication, training, play, and other activities. Some daily medication administration is included.

Some preferences are that you have experience working with children with disabilities or that you have education as a childcare worker, assistant nurse, or equivalent. Experience with epilepsy is preferred. I have home bag dialysis, and knowledge of this is a merit. Training will be provided, which is mandatory. A driver's license is an advantage and desirable but not a requirement, as we usually take the train or taxi. You must be non-smoking. No fur animal allergies as I go horseback riding and have dogs at home. Sometimes we visit the swimming pool where I make progress in my mobility and transfers, so it is important that you do not have a chlorine allergy.
