As a support assistant at Kasernvillan, it is important to create safety, structure, and understanding based on the individual's unique needs. Autism means that the person processes information and experiences the world in a different way, which places special demands on interaction and working methods.

The tasks primarily consist of providing participants with:

• individual support in their tasks/activities
• developing and maintaining skills and communication, taking into account the functional limitation
• supporting participants' participation
• supporting participants' self-determination and personal integrity
• responsibility for documentation according to current guidelines
• performing medical tasks based on delegation from a nurse, if necessary, or assisting participants with self-care
• acting as a contact person when needed, ensuring that the implementation plan is drawn up and followed up

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a completed education from the Care and Nursing Program or the Child and Youth Program with a focus on social work. Education in or experience of working with people with autism and clear pedagogy is required for the job. It is an advantage if you have education and experience of working with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and low-affective interaction.

Since the work requires communication and documentation, we assume that you are computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. For the position, a category B driver's license with a manual gearbox is a requirement.

You have the ability to follow instructions, routines, and statutory requirements. You have good cooperation skills, are flexible, and social.

This is us

The operations of the Care Administration are directed towards the elderly and people who need functional support, as well as people who need home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing housing, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the Assistive Technology Centre in Eastern Skåne.
