Job Description

We are looking for you who want to work in a flexible role at Svarte Boende. In this position, you work on resource shifts and move between different units based on the operational needs. You are where you are needed most, making your work both meaningful and varied. Since you are not a fixed care contact, you have fewer administrative tasks and can focus fully on providing our residents with security, quality, and good treatment in their daily lives.

In this role, you provide individualized care and support to our residents based on their needs and wishes. Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Providing personal care, medical care, and social support.
  • Observing, documenting, and reporting changes in health status.
  • Collaborating closely with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other colleagues.
  • Contributing to a meaningful daily life for our residents through activities and conversations.
  • Working according to current routines and guidelines within elderly care.

Qualifications

Svarte Boende is looking for you who are empathetic and sensitive, with a good ability to collaborate and treat people with respect. You easily create a sense of security in interactions with others and are responsible and flexible in your approach. We see that you have a genuine commitment and a strong interest in providing high-quality care and support. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

For the position, you need to have at least 1 year of experience in the healthcare profession and previous experience with cognitive diseases.

Merits:

  • You are a trained nursing assistant and can provide proof of a protected professional title.
  • Have good knowledge of work within dementia care.
  • Delegation of health and medical care tasks.
  • Experience with documentation.
  • Category B driving license and ability to commute to work.

Terms of Employment

The positions are fixed-term contracts (75–100%) until February 2027 with a possibility of extension. The salary is monthly, and the employment type is fixed-term. Working hours follow a schedule with a mixed shift pattern (day and evening, alternate weekends).
