Job Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist with us, you work with preventive, habilitation, and rehabilitation measures for people living in ordinary housing and those in care and nursing homes. Your tasks include motivating patients towards health and an active life. You assess needs, evaluate function, prescribe assistive devices, and carry out rehabilitation measures with clear goals. Sometimes you meet the patient individually, and sometimes together with an occupational therapist.

The department also includes two rehabilitation assistants who perform many tasks delegated by licensed staff. The role also involves supervising care personnel in activating and rehabilitation methods. Collaboration is important to us, and as a team, we work with the quality register Senior Alert, where we conduct risk assessments to prevent illness in patients. We are currently a "Silver Municipality" and are aiming for "Gold Municipality" status this year. As a physiotherapist, you ensure that treatment, fitting, and prescription of assistive devices are carried out appropriately. The position also includes delegation, supervision, and training of care personnel.

Qualifications

The position requires you to be a licensed physiotherapist. Previous experience in the profession is meritorious. You are good at working independently and in a structured manner. You collaborate with colleagues in the work team and take responsibility for your contribution to the whole. We value qualities such as innovation, determination, precision, and confidence. You have good IT skills and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing. A driver's license is required.
