About the Operations

Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home help services, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

The Health and Medical Care Unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and HSL-USK. We work with patients aged 18 and above who require primary healthcare services at home, both in special housing and ordinary housing.

The Health and Medical Care Unit in Ystad Municipality is now recruiting licensed Nurses. Our operations cover care within Special Housing (SÄBO), Ordinary Housing, as well as Disability Services and Social Psychiatry (FoS). Here you meet patients where they are, in their homes and daily lives, with safety, continuity, and care in focus.

As a Nurse in home healthcare, you are responsible for medical assessments, planning, and follow-up of care interventions. You work person-centered with the patient's needs at the center, handle medications, and collaborate closely with nursing staff, doctors, and other professions. Documentation and work according to current legislation are a natural part of the assignment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed Nurse.
• Have two years of experience as a nurse.
• Have a B-driving license, as the work involves moving between different operations.

Experience of municipal health and medical care, home healthcare, elderly care, or disability services and social psychiatry is meritorious.

As a person, you have a good ability to work independently, make well-founded decisions, and take responsibility for your tasks, while also valuing collaboration and good teamwork. You meet patients, relatives, and colleagues with sensitivity, respect, and a warm approach, and have a genuine commitment to creating safe and person-centered care. You are structured, flexible, and adapt easily to varying workdays.

Employment Conditions

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment type: Permanent position.
• Duration: Permanent.
• Working hours: Daytime. Daytime, two weekends every ten weeks.
