Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home help services, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently looking for an engaged and experienced nurse for a meaningful and developmental role within disability services and social psychiatry. You will become an important part of a competent team working to create safety and quality for our patients.

As a nurse within the unit for persons with disabilities and social psychiatry, you will have a flexible and varied job where you have the opportunity to truly make a difference. You are responsible for assessment, follow-up, and documentation according to the Health and Medical Services Act, as well as handling medication, care planning, and assessments of physical and mental health conditions. You also work in close collaboration with other professions and actors within healthcare and social care.

Working hours are weekdays with duty every fifth weekend. During the weekend, you will work across the entire municipality, including special and ordinary housing as well as LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in the role of a nurse, you must be meticulous, able to adapt to situations, and have a holistic view of the patients' needs. The work as a nurse with us requires both decisiveness and analytical thinking.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse.
• Have at least 2 years of experience working as a nurse.
• Hold a valid B driver's license.

Meritorious if you have:

• Experience working within the disability field (LSS).
• Experience working within social psychiatry or psychiatry.
• Further education with a focus on psychiatry.
• Experience in municipal healthcare.
