Linguista is a business unit within AcadeMedia offering various language services both remotely and on-site. Our services include mother tongue instruction, study guidance, and modern languages.

We primarily work with primary and secondary schools, and occasionally within adult education, based on the diverse needs of students.

Linguista operates in two locations, Stockholm and Gothenburg, where we offer some of our services on-site (mostly in Stockholm) at partner schools. We view language instruction as a crucial part of student development and goal achievement. Therefore, a high-quality, language-developing approach is highly prioritized. We expect you to have a holistic view of student learning and be eager to develop your profession with us. Teacher education with eligibility in the relevant language is, of course, an advantage.

Responsibilities

The work involves mother tongue instruction at the primary school level, conducted remotely. The assignment includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in accordance with the curriculum. As a pedagogue, it is important to adapt teaching to students' needs and support their knowledge development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• The current language of instruction as a mother tongue.
• Teacher education or an equivalent academic education with a pedagogical focus.
• Experience as a teacher and experience working with remote teaching, along with very good computer skills (G Suite or similar digital environments).
• A formative approach, interest in pedagogical development, and varied pedagogical aptitude.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

We apply the collective agreement between Almega Educational Companies/Service Unions and the trade unions Unionen/SI.

Personal suitability is highly valued. Only qualified teachers can be offered permanent positions.

The position will be filled provided the need persists. The employment may be subject to reduction in case of redundancy.
